Lazaro Niebla’s work recreates conscious feelings of human beings from an honest relationship with them. A deep interest in the peasant grandparent and their intimate connection with nature, being the pillar of the family and their community for their wisdom, and having respect and gratitude for the sacred. Using wood from old doors, in the polychrome bas-relief technique he creates hand-carved portraits. He is interested in the recovery of the rural community and the dignity of the peasant.
